The SMiSA Stadium, also known as St Mirren Park, is the home of St Mirren Football Club, located in the Ferguslie Park area of Paisley, Renfrewshire. Opened on 31 January 2009 at a construction cost of £8 million, the stadium replaced St Mirren's former Love Street ground and brought the club a modern, purpose-built home for the 21st century. The stadium has a capacity of 7,937 — the record attendance — and features four stands: the East Stand (Main Stand, Greenhill Road side, 2,220 seats), the West Stand (Craigielea Drive, 2,516 seats and away overspill), the North Stand (Ferguslie Park Avenue, away stand, 1,633 seats), and the South Stand (Drums Avenue, family stand). Paisley St James railway station is adjacent to the stadium, making it one of the most conveniently accessed grounds in Scotland. The SMiSA Stadium is named after the St Mirren Supporters Association (SMiSA), which owns a majority stake in St Mirren FC, reflecting the club's strong community ownership model. St Mirren won the Scottish League Cup in December 2025, defeating Celtic 3-1 at Hampden Park — a landmark victory for the club and Paisley.
St Mirren moved to their new stadium at Greenhill Road in January 2009, having played at Love Street since 1894. The move brought modern facilities to the Buddies and ended a 115-year association with their former home. The record attendance of 7,937 was set on 22 April 2023 for a match against Kilmarnock. The stadium has been used for Scotland under-21 international matches. St Mirren survived Premiership relegation in 2025-26 via a play-off victory over Partick Thistle, ensuring the Buddies' continued top-flight status. The SMiSA naming rights reflect the community and supporter ownership model that is central to the club's identity.
The SMiSA Stadium, though compact at 7,937 capacity, creates an intimate and passionate match day atmosphere. The four enclosed stands keep supporter noise focused on the pitch, and a full house at the SMiSA — as happened in the 2022-23 season — generates a lively and committed atmosphere. The Buddies support is loyal and dedicated. Paisley's industrial heritage and community pride are reflected in the passionate support St Mirren receives in their compact home.
